I picked this beast up off a guy who saw I was looking for vintage tools on my website. He had a complete shop he had picked up in a pre-estate sale. I wish I would have been there to screen the truckloads that got thrown out. As usual often it is the "junk" that gets thrown out that is worth the most. It was covered in cobwebs, dust and rust and at first was very uncertain about it. Now I know the opposite. This thing is a power house and one of my favorite tools. I use it almost every day. One of the covers was taken off in order to fit on the wire wheel. Thus it is gone forever. The glass in the eye protectors is laminated plate glass. Being not to bright and a bit of a gambler I took them off now. Would love to find out the age on this one. The base is homemade but works great.

Sadly the cover was taken off to fit the wire wheel on. My guess got thrown out.
