This machine was rescued from the back of a sea-can in South Central British Columbia. The previous owner claims it originated in Yellowknife, NWT. It is a USA made machine and was found painted green and in very poor condition, completely covered in rust and all adjustments seized solid. Amazingly, the cutter head bearings seemed pretty good. It obviously hadn't been used in sometime. Removed two shades of green and one of cream before finding remnants of the original Delta Gray. Refinished in Charcoal (dark gray). Completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled with new bearings installed. Still missing one hand wheel (found on BOYD) and the upper cast iron belt cover (still looking). New blades and a motor need to be installed, adjusted and then it is ready to go. Also need to fashion a dust chute, find a return spring for the blade cover (done) and find a few small drive screws to refasten the serial number plate.
