This ww blade and ww hand tool grinder came out of the former Lapp Lumber and Planing Mill in LeRoy, NY. The former owner, Joseph "Joe" Lapp, now deceased, and I acquired this from his wife and my friend Priscilla L. The grinder originally had some sort of oilers atop it. I arrived at the manufacture date as the number 98 can be seen stamped under a top plate that is secured w/two flat head drive screws on the inside of each arbor end and beneath where the oilers would've sat. See below.
