Nice little treadle metal lathe. Don't think it was yellow originally but been this color for a long time. A counterbalance weight on the flywheel appears to have been added but it works great to stop the flywheel at the right place to just push down on the treadle and she is off. Name tag is very well done. The main shaft rides on round rollers in each leg. Steady rest is a nice plus to have but no change gears.
Lathe to the right that is partially pictured is a Baldwin, I think. For more information, visit www.footpoweredmachinery.com
