I found this jig-saw on Craigslist (Denver) and picked it up on May 11, 2011. I purchased it from an older gentleman who had owned the tool for 30+ years. Said that it likes to vibrate around if you are not careful and kindly included a non-slip pad with it. This machine did not come with a manual. Purchase price: $15. I had been looking for one of these for a while, seeing as it will be perfect for small inlay-type work and veneers. I saw one once before, but wasn't able to snag it fast enough. I didn't wait on this one. I have a feeling I'm really going to like working with it.
The condition: Overall is excellent, with the cleanest tags I've seen. It has some scrapes in the paint, but nothing too severe - I may try touching up. The table is smooth, slightly dull. The underside has the faintest hint of some surface rust, but it is minimal. It looks like it is missing the blade guide, as observed from Brian K's jig-saw of similar design on this site. The cord has been replaced, but will be replaced with a more appropriate looking cord. This model does have an on/off switch.
