I bought this machine along with 2 others at Babcock Lumber in St. Mary's PA. I really wasn't looking for one of these since I already have a nice edge sander, but the Porter Cable Stationary Sanders are really nice machines. Runs very well with a 2hp motor. Includes the very rare miter gage that also fits my Porter Cable D1 disc sander. I bought it from an online auction site and was not able to preview the auction beforehand. The only thing I noticed about the machine is a brazed repair near the outboard bearing support. The table is also missing a small chunck from the front left corner and the table support is not solid all the way across at the top of the curved segment. Not sure what happened to the machine, but the brazed repair looks like it was done by a very competent person. Nice looking repair, and it doesn't appear that the bearing alignment was affected at all (crossing my fingers). I am guessing the machine got tipped over somehow in the past. That being said, it should clean up well and make a nice addition to the other 2 porter cable sanders I have.
