There it was. A huge heavy duty table saw just like I wanted, for sale at my local used tool dealer. But I had never even heard of Wadkin Bursgreen. (Now Wadkin Ltd, England) I began to research. I found the company still in business and most helpful. I was shipped a copy of the owners manual. Parts were still available. The saws motor was a Baldor TEFC 3 hp. 220 volt single phase. Saw blade was a 10" 60 tooth Carbide tipped blade made my Wisconsin Knife Works. Great blade, I had it resharpened also. The front rip fence bar extends 53" to the right of the saw with a leg set used to extend the working surface. The rip fence, also heavy duty has a micro adjustment feature. The saw weighs in at 391 lbs. The dealer offered to deliver it along with a Shop Fox tool stand and I purchased it. This saw had been used in a cabinet shop in a nearby town. I sand blasted off all paint. I primed, sanded and repainted. I also replaced both the motor bearings and arbor bearings along with both of the belts. I realigned the top after a complete cleaning and waxing. The stainless extension on the right side of the saw measures 28" x 41". Total width of this saw in now 81". This is a top quality industrial saw that will probably out last me. I plan to pass it along to my children. Wadkin can be reached in the U.S. at http://www.wadkintooling.com/
