This a Williams & Hussey planer molder. It will plane 7" in one pass or 14" by flipping the board. This is the second year of manufacture. The serial plate says Williams & Hussey Machine Corp. Milford NH. Patent Pending. This the W-7S model so it has feed rollers on both in and out feed. When I bought it I called the manufacture to buy replacement feed rollers and to check on its age. I was told it was made in 1956. I have been able to acquire quite a number of molding knives for this machine and I use it on a regular basis. I use it primarily to do short runs of special restoration moldings. I built the stand and fence system. It is powered by a 2 HP Craftsman motor. I can trace ownership back to 1976 with invoices that came with the paper work. I know that it was in New Jersey at that time. The paint is still original and I have no intention of repainting it. I have replaced all the bearings and bushing. It is a fun machine to run and setups are very simple.
