Won this on eBay a couple of years back for $50. It came from an instrument manufacturer and appears to have been used to cut a ceramic or plastic material. The Dayton 6K119 adjustable speed motor had a max RPM of 108 and the saw was set up to cut between 49 and 322 FPM. Included was a full box of 5 brand new Starrett 1/4" blades, 96" long.
Obvious parts that need to be replaced include the Alignment screw and Hand wheel on the tensioner. I pulled the tensioner mechanism apart and it's apparent it was repaired at some point by a machinist.
Still working to get this restoration completed. Current plans include shifting the cast iron stand to a 16" Walker Turner Band Saw I'm also working on. The 14" will get placed on a sheet metal stand with both the variable speed dayton motor and 1 HP TEFC motor available to drive it.
