CL purchase outside of Portland, Or. Overall, cast iron in great abundance, nice and heavy, large motor, dead-solid straight jointing after a sharpening and re-setting the blades. A nice feature: the cutterhead itself may be raised or lowered. The short bed length was not a problem for the size of work I do mostly. I did build a set of doors and was able to joint 7' stock, but it would be tough to go much longer. On the downside, the fence design allows for some flex and the adjustments are kind of...flintstonian? Also a small but persistent vibration I never could track down... I ended up using this tool about a year before selling it for what I paid plus gas money.
