This AHS DP is owned by John Chadwick, formerly from the Albany, WI area and now lives in California. John's grandfather was Harris Morgan Whitcomb, who is named in several patents on this site and was brother-in-law to Dr. Saxton Morgan. Dr. Morgan was issued patent #901,635 for the unique features incorporated into the design of this variable speed DP. H.M. Whitcomb is listed on this patent as one of the witnesses. No serial number has been found on this DP to date. More information will follow after further research and approval for publication has been issued.
