THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
I acquired this planer around 2012 from the previous and only owner in the Buffalo-Williamsville, NY area. I paid around $400.00 for it. I don't know it's exact weight but it is very heavy and takes two healthy men to carry it, and you may wish you had two more men to help. It has a single phase motor, 220-230 v., 2 hp, 3450 rpm. I have no complaints with it, altho' it did take me a long time to find the oem dust hood, and a 4" dust port connection needed a lot of tweaking for it to fit to the cast iron opening. The DC system has been upgraded and was purch'd with American $ but I've forgotten how much, thru a C'list sale, after new bearings in the motor and some adjustments to the squirrel in the fan cage, all is well at twice the power than the previous set up. I now have a former Delta dbl gang press table/legs combo under the planer. I purch'd the combo, sans dp heads for $50. The entire thing now weighs in at ~400 lbs and doesn't move when in operation. It is a pleasure to use.
The weight for the planer is said to be 295 lbs. Read more here: http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=163997&sid=9e3cfc88618655eb60530f661561c911&p=1111084#p1111084

Addition of a dual gang press table/legs = this doesn't move at all or rack like the old table support of MDF.
