This belonged to my wife's Grandfather, he purchased it new and I found the original sales receipt! $105.50 for the lathe, $11.15 for the chuck, $12.00 belt guard, and $2.75 for a knurling tool. I'm sure a lot of money for a bill dated 04-03-1937. From what I've read this model was only manufactured for about 12 months in 1936-1937. He was a machinist by trade, and this came with tons of extras. Lots of homemade jigs and such. After he retired, he still did jobs for his former employer in his basement. My wife says he practically lived down there. He passed in the mid 1960's and I'm sure lucky this was never sold! I have since picked up an original stand and hope to someday restore it.
