I acquired this from a gentleman in Toledo, Ohio, who purchased it at a school auction. It is quite possible this sat for many years unused, given that the school building it was in had been vacant for some time. The planer was in perfect working condition, save for some petrified grease in the innards, when I purchased it. Aside from a minor restoration, mostly cosmetic, the machine appears to be all original.
