This machine was restored by Clive Rodgers from Lanark, ON. and owned by him until he passed away in Jan 2011. It has been sold to an unidentified new owner. It is permanently attached to a trailer with a Wisconsin 2 cylinder gas engine, for showing at machinery meets. The trailer is funished with a tool box that contains a selection of cutter heads in different sizes. The machine base has the cast letters "Cant Gourlay & Co / Galt Ont" but the cast brass name plate says "MacGregor Gourlay", which was the successor to Cant Goulay, indicating it was made about the time of the name change.
