Comments:
Grandfather bought it used from lower Alabama or Upper Florida in the late 1930's for his saw mill operation and moved it to its current location in South Carolina. He always said it weighed 16 tons, but I don't know that to be accurate. It still sits where it has always been used. The old saw mill and other equipment have all gone, but the planer remains. My dad still keeps it in working condition.
