Comments:
This is a Porter-Cable (Rockwell) shaper table for portable routers. All main parts are cast iron. Adjustable infeed on the fence for jointing. Machined concentric steps, on the bottom, accept different diameter router bases. Two steel clamps on thumbscrews hold the router. I found this gem on a parts shelf at ReTool, $30. Only missing parts are the center insert and adjustment thumbscrews.

Update 12Feb06:
Wirebrushed old paint and rust. Primed and painted tool gray. Found a set of bandsaw inserts that were the correct OD. Bored the center with a holesaw.

Mounted on the side of my Craftsman 10" tablesaw with two L-shaped 2x4 brackets. The gap in the middle is necessary to clear the router base knob.

Attached is a 1953 Porter-Cable 100 router, with the shaper spindle in place of the collet. This is a neat set-up for small work.
