I just purchased this Lathe from the Kindel Furniture Co., of Grand Rapids Michigan. The are downsizing from their Old three story building plus basement to a single story building for better work flow. I've been in need(want) of a bigger lathe for some time to turn columns for a Queen Anne Victorian house (money pit). The lathe is three phase 440v, but also has a brass motor plate showing 110/220, 3/4 hp. It appears to have been rewired to 440v, 3ph as the second motor plate indicates. On the curved leg under the motor it shows a casting number of 5486.
