I purchased this WT Jointer 11/10 from a local cabinet maker who had owned it for several years but didn't use it much. It ran okay but looked pretty rough. Researching it led me to the OWWM website and inspired me to restore it. I don't know the exact age but I'm guessing it's from the late 40's. I completely disassembled it, sandblasted the painted surfaces and matched paint as best as possible to original. Also painted a gloss clear coat, which really helps keep it clean. Painted different color highlights on a few areas and made the wooden base with casters. It looks like it may have the original WT motor on it. Just purchased a flat style (not the articulating arm type)knife guard for it but it's not installed yet. I really like this machine. Very heavy and smooth running!
