Comments:
Won Aug 24, 2004 from an online auction. The manufacturer's logo (Frank & Co.) is hand painted on body of saw behind the lower wheel. Supplier's tag (C.C. Wormer) is riveted to the rear column just up and to the left of mfr's. logo. Wheel diameter is 26" and drive pulley is 12" diameter. The motor shown came with the band saw and is a 5 hp, 220 volt, 3 phase Westinghouse. The pulley on the motor is 10" diameter which is much too large to drive this band saw at a safe speed. Most likely this motor & pulley were used to drive a line shaft which in turn drove more than one machine.
