Bought this saw off the local classifieds in Jan. 2009. I had a Craftsman/ King-Seely 8' that I bought when I moved into this house 25 years ago. Sadly I got rid of it because the elevating tilting mechanism was shot. I bought a used 80's vintage Craftsman and I was totally disappointed. So, after a few years I could stand it no more and started the search for another old saw. I love everything about this saw except the fence. Because it has all the the extensions, front and side it is a long/deep table, and I haven't been able to find a fence to go all the way from front to back. I built the wood base for it and made the Atlas logo on the band saw after expanding a picture from the pubs page. It has a dust drawer and a fitting to attach the shop vac. Also has casters so I can move it around. Because of the fence I will probably move this saw in the near future and look for a Unisaw.
