>>MACHINE<<
Craftsman 102.05600 6" jointer, built by Walker-Turner (their 900 series).
This machine is complete and in excellent condition for its age.
Also included is the original cast iron adjustment wrench.
>>HISTORY<<
November 2010:
I purchased this machine as part of a private sale package deal.
No further history is available.
October 2014:
Currently cleaning up the machine, then lubrication.
The bearings feel good. I plan on repacking the originals.
March 2015:
Cleaned and lubricated everything.
Flushed and repacked original SKF ball bearings with Mobil Polyrex EM.
Hand sharpened all knives on waterstones.
Adjusted knives with a dial indicator on outfeed table.
Mounted to a 1950s 16x30 Universal Stand with a Craftsman 315.5608 1/2HP 3450RPM RI motor and Power Panl.
Jointer pulley-2½", motor pulley-3½", speed ~4800rpm.
Very smooth cuts.
September 2015:
I no longer own this jointer--sold to a fellow OWWMer and Ruckered it to ArnFest 2015.
