Obtained in a local private sale package deal, in the Fall of 2010.
No additional info on this planer.

>>MACHINE<<
Craftsman 103.1801 6"x2" manual feed thickness planer built by Central Specialty.
Included the original knife setting gauge.
I believe this to be from around 1945, because the original paint is medium gray (Post-WWII color), but the logo tag is the earlier model.

Feb2011:
Cleaned, polished and waxed the bed. Reset the in and outfeed guides.
Cleaned overall machine and lubricated all moving points.
Test set-up includes a Craftsman 16x18 tool stand and Craftsman 315.5608 ½hp 3450rpm RI motor.
Test planed some 1x3s and 2x4s. This planer does an excellent job.
