Comments:
PO inherited from father-in-law (original owner) and had planned to use as a meat saw, but decided a woodworker should have it. Badge on motor states it is a 1/4 HP Robbins & Myers made for The Altorfer Bros. Co. Paint is in very good shape so this may be a clean up only unless I find I need to paint (match original). Infill table and light are original. This unit needs new bearings and tires and a stand of some sort.
Update: decided on full restore. Created stand out of Delta flared legs and 2x6 cut to fit. Motor is Dayton 3/4 HP. Belt guard is first attempt at working with MDF. Paint scheme is rattle can satin black and Sherwin Williams OEM mix recipe from "Woodcutter". Fence came off of the very low budget Homecraft 8" tilty. Rail for fence is 1/4"x1 1/2" bar stock attached with 1/4" bolts and spacers. Fence has 1/2" extension between fence and clamp so that clamp clears rail spacers.
