Answered a CL ad for free woodworking magazines and a Walker-Turner Scroll Saw. Once I got there, the magazines were taken, however, the scroll saw and a bunch of other items were for sale, including this Dunlap Shaper. I picked up the shaper for $25.00. It is in excellent condition and just missing the hold-downs. I'm going to clean it up and use it as a secondary shaper to the Rockwell HD Shaper. I don't know if the motor is original, but if it is, the shaper was sold through Sears.
Just finished restoration assembly at 1:00 am MT on 2/22/2011. Posted some after restoration pics. Also discovered a hatchet job a PO did to the back to add a larger pulley to the spindle.
