Until recently I owned 2 of these lathes. I acquired the 1st one in 1994 from the original owner for fifty dollars. In 2010 I bought a 2d one with original face plates, GE motor, chisels, calipers & dividers for eighty dollars. I refurbished both and sold the 1st one 2 weeks ago. The headstock has a 5/8" unthreaded shaft with a reverse taper (true to it's Magna roots) and a #2 Morse taper with 1.75" travel in tail stock. Ways are one inch wide with 2 inches between ways. Four and half inch swing over bed and 6" over gap.
