Crescent 26" band saw. Babbitt bearings. 1916, Serial # 38072. This machine had factory wheel guards. All the mounting hardware is there, however, only part of the upper steel mesh guard remains. Machine is otherwise complete. This machine had recently done duty as a metal cutting saw, set up with a 1/2 hp, variable speed drive. When I acquired this saw the main table had been damaged and repaired. I obtained a replacement table in great condition from Dick Streff who was parting out a Crescent 26" and was kind enough to donate his table to complete this saw. Thanks Dick, you're a true gentlemen.
