8" jointer manufactured in 1942 according to the serial number. The blades actually measure about 8-3/8" in length. The tables are about 8-1/2" wide. It has a 1 HP 3 PH motor made by the Louis Allis company. The base is cast iron and the entire machine is very heavy for a jointer this size.
