Although I really wasn't looking for another joiner, I came across this one being sold locally by the grandson of the previous owner. I am not familiar with Gallmeyer & Livingston, but found the joiner to be an interesting design and with only a couple of minor parts missing. I was also attracted to it because of its relative rarity. As you can see, it's been out of service for some time, but I have no doubt it will turn out to be a very nice joiner after I've restored it. Based on information I've received from other OWWMers (Thank You!), I don't believe this joiner was originally a direct drive machine, as seems to be the more typical G&L arrangement, but was part of a TS/joiner combo machine. The mounting configuration is quite a bit different than the Delta joiners with which I'm more familiar. I'm still interested in receiving any information from other OWWMers who know of resources that will help with this restoration. Finding a matching TS, historically accurate motor and base would be great, but I'm sure will be a challenge to find. (SOLD)
