I bought this machine in the fall of 2010, it came complete with a 3/4" and 1/2" spindle and an adapter to run 1/2" and 1/4" router bits. This shaper was in good shape when I bought it, I don't think the 3/4" spindle was ever used. I replaced bearings, belt and repainted the machine. Richard in Texas rebuilt the spindle cartridge for me. It currently has a 1hp single phase motor in it.
Update, April 25/2012
The original 1hp single phase motor has been replaced with a three phase 3hp Baldor motor controlled by a VFD.
