Found this for sale locally and my buddy and I split on it. I took it apart and cleaned up the table mechanism and I replaced the bearings in the big motor. The platen needed to be replaced so I used the MDF bed from an old tread mill. The slippery surface that was on it works great and lets the conveyor belt slide along with minimal resistance. It has a 5hp motor for the drums and a geared 1/2 hp for the conveyor. The dust collection is just adequate and I may add more dust ports in the future. I may also look into a variable speed feed for it. With help from my dad we adjusted everything and I was impressed with the sanding quality. I have a feeling that when we upgrade to non-Chinese paper the performance will be upgraded to excellent.
