Found on CL- Near Richmond,Virginia- PO wanted it gone to have more space, was part of sawmill operation of a home builder that cut and planed all of the lumber for the houses that he built. Planer had not been used for at least 15 years. The whole mill set up was powered by a Detroit Diesel. Plan to check the machine out and restore for my use unless someone out there wants it more than I do. Can anyone help me with a date and any other info from the ID tag? Is 47 the manufacture date? Note the Dairy Barn in the background of the pictures that I am restoring.
