This was purchased several years ago from a retired friend of the family. I used it up until I purchased a Delta 18" Wedgebed that has now replaced it.

Some of the key design changes that are included on this planer that were not OEM were: in feed and out feed guide rollers, guards on rotating pulleys to prevent accidents, and a chip deflector. You have to look very close to see that these are not original. The design was terrific and blend in with the machine very well. A real nice restoration.

I am not sure if the stand is original or not. It has a nice "broom handle" knob which one could fit a 2' section of 1.25" pipe over, then you have a lever which can be used to easily move the planer around the shop. I have since put a shop fox under it so this feature is no longer utilized...quite ingenious!

The planer is powered by a "B-line motor" that is 3/4 HP and has a standard light switch type motor starter from AB. The motor is the original motor issued for this planer and confirmed by another OWWM'r who has one as well.

I no longer own this machine as I sold it to a fellow OWWM'r.
