Oh boy. This uni came from Willie Rolnick's shop in Brooklyn New York. I have a copy of the original reciept. He passed away several years ago and his daughter after having found the OWWM site admired my 1953 uni restoration. So she contacted me by email and asked if I would help her properly close her father's shop. I inventoried and valued every item in her shop. Then I posted everything I didn't want or need on OWWM through BOYD. There are exactly two proud owners of his machines besides me.
Everything he had was kept in immaculate shape. It is my second uni and I didn't buy it because I "thought" I'd need it, I bought it becuase of what it was. Part of a Delta museum. But now it's my "go to" uni. I use my '53 uni for dado's and wider rips (I have a beisey fence on the '53 uni ). However, even though I gave a nut and bolt resto to the 1953 uni , I find this one feels more accurate. I can shave 1/16th off anything I want all day long on Willie's. And I haven't touched it.
3ph 1 1/2 hp original bullet motor with egg. Bought and used as is. By the way you can't beat an old sharp Delta blade either. It's all I use. He had tons of em in every tooth count and set you can imagine. In addition to what you see hanging on the machine I have a wooden box he stored others in. He seperated each blade with a card board cereal box front to protect the blade teeth.
