Note that cast into the main frame is "Co." as apposed to "Works". An aluminum tag rivited to the table's front edge has the numbers 219-02 which I assume is a serial number.This machine also has a dealers tag: Hill, Clarke & Co. Machinery Chicago Branch 14 So. Canal St. The "Manufacters Idex" dates the Holland Michigan machines from 1916-1957.
This saw has 36" wheels with iron spokes and wooden rims. The drive pulley is for a flat belt. The 3 HP G.E. motor it is currently set up with has 4 V-belts driving the flat belt pulley.
