My Christmas gift to my self for 2010. I have owned and used the same vintage LeBlond Regal 19x 84 for the last 25 years. When i came across this 13x42 of the same vintage i had to go check it out. It was only 30 minuets away. PO took it in trade for some work. It looks like hell, but when you look past the layers of paint overspray and sanding dust do to PO being a body and fender man it is in very nice shape. He was told from the guy he got it from that he has not seen it run for the 25 years he worked for the company. PO was asking 1300 but due to his wife wanting to do some Xmas shopping he said he would take $1000. I asked him if i could remove the top cover and check out all the gears. Took alittle to pop the cover loose but was a very nice surprise to see every thing was in great shape. The lathe came with a nice 3 jaw, 4 jaw, 2 face places,steady rest,chuck,live center, taper attachment,coolant pump, and a box of other mis cutters and mis parts and tooling. I paid the man and picked it up the following day. Maybe not a give away but i was very happy with the price. It will go on the list for a restore but for know i will put it to work and passon my little green 10x24 jet lathe.
