Got this from a guy locally. No prior history, he claims he used it in their business of building speaker boxes. It was not in happy condition, it was missing a lower guide, the trunnion didn't fit right, the lower shaft had been chewed up, and the lower wheel had a crack. Still, it had potential.
It also had a 1/2 HP Century motor. These motors are big for their given power.
I built a base for it out of MDF, and modeled after one that Walker Turner offered in their catalog from the same period.
I used Eric Tuck's Sherwin Williams paint recipe, and I like it. Just enough different than regular gray.
