Got it from a friend. He had purchased a nice old metal lathe (belts, and Babbitts) from a widow. She also had this hacksaw which my friend sold to me since he had a horizontal band saw already.

It was in very good condition, so it was just a clean and paint.

I made the stand from plywood and some scrap 2X6 I had from another project. It was modeled after a Walker Turner cast iron stand that I liked.

I use it regularly now, and it's way better than cutting by hand, and cuts straighter than I could.

There is an ad in the MS for this saw dated 1935, but there's no other information.
