I was looking for a small bench op jointer and found this one at a yard sale for $5.00. The bearings were shot. I ordered a new set from sears $14.00. I cleaned of the rust in a 5 gallon bucket with electrolysis and a brass wire brush. Primed the parts to be be painted with an epoxy primer and let it cure for three days. It's painted with automotive paint and clear coated. I sharpened the knives, replaced the bearing and put it all back together and I've got a new $19.00 jointer.
