Got this from the basement of the Krauss Furniture Factory in South Amana Iowa, an old school furniture factory that went out of business a couple years ago, but this had been in the basement for a very long time. Looks to be a high production cross cut chop saw that is run with a foot lever so you can keep both hands on the stock. Will take up to a 16" diameter blade. The foot lever attaches to the arm with a cable and it has a sliding counterweight you can adjust to get the action just right - it pulls against a big coil spring.

This baby is old school heavy - the foot lever with sliding counterweight is at least 60 pounds, the saw assembly itself is about 175 pounds, about 75 pounds of with is the motor. Seems to be complete and in very good condition - motor is burned out so I will probably scrap that. Run off off twin v belts, I will save the motor pulley obviously.
