Purchased at auction from Rivco Products of New Hampshire. RIVCO was long established door and sash company that went insolvent in 2007. This is a older model 284 automatic mortiser of unknown vintage. Last sold by old time Boston machine dealer James F. Murphy Machinery of Cambridge, MA. The specifics are as follows:

Machine runs smooth and quietly however there are the normal oil seepage leaks from the geardrive box. This machine was on line at Rivco until the day they auction off the machines. Unfortunately the large box of chisels and bit went missing after the auction and day I picked up the machine.
