I have posted this saw for Otto Van Hiel in Hamilton Ontario. It belonged to his wife's uncle, a patternmaker who died in 2010 at the age of 99. It has survived in good working order. This is only the second machine we know of so far by this maker. It appears that this saw is older than the first one, as evidenced by the cast iron spoke wheels, as opposed to the aluminum disc wheels on mine, and by the traditional C-frame design. It is interesting that it is still in the same town where it was made. The last photo showing the base, gives another name for the company: "Dion Bench Machine Manufacturing, Hamilton Ont".
