I acquired this from Craigslist. I was a little sceptical about buying a wooden saw, but for the price, I think I got a pretty good deal considering the throat is a true 18" and the cutting height is 11"+, plus the table size is really large. It has a 3/4 HP Dayton motor, and overall it cuts really well. It has a second wheel with a pulley that alllows me to change over the belt to speed up the RPM significantly.
The saw is surprisingly stiff and has exceeded my expectations. Its also nice to NOT have to move something that is cast iron.
