I purch'd this saw in 2008 from the "Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns" in Buffalo, NY for $300.00. The saw & other machinery turned out to be a liability for the club, and, I first saw the ad for it on the local C'list, for practically the entire wood shop, consisting of a Delta; lathe, scroll saw and 12" disc sander. I don't recall the price paid for the other Delta machines. The entire lot was transported home in my pickup in two trips, took about 3+ hours. I brought the saw home to my shop and slowly began the dismantling process and follow on restoration. The saw was full of mostly pine saw dust from past projects that the boys & girls did. The included blade was covered in pine tar, dull too, and thrown away. The restoration is complete and the saw is back together on the shop floor. The rest of the machinery was sold and found it's way to the west coast. Within the last year I added polyurethane coated mahogany fence bumpers to both sides of the rip fence. The deck and extensions have been drilled (for a feeder perhaps) and dinged and gouged with some large divers. All filled with epoxy, sanded and buffed out.
