Here's another saved combo machine that took some doing to get it back into service. I spent a lot of hours and a fair amount of money to return it to being fully functional again. The previous owner had been using the table saw as a work bench, so it was not only rusty, but was well splattered with paint, varnish and ??. Everything was disassembled down to individual parts, stripped and de-rusted, new bearings installed, painted with Sherwin Williams color-matched DTM, reassembled and adjusted. I found a huge amount of sawdust inside the motor, which I disassembled, refreshed the commutator and brushes, repaired wiring, installed new bearings and painted. As of 12/18/10, it now has the correct OEM tapered sleeve on the jointer lock lever (not shown). The rip fence has been restored but isn't shown. Still need to fab the belt guards, find a few small parts and would like to replace the faded jointer angle scale, so it's still a "work in progress".
