This machine came out of Washington State’s juvenile correction facility’s maintenance department. The cutting capacity is 7” tall by 11” wide. The machine weighs about 325. I purchased it in Centralia from a private party in 2009. Parts for this machine are still available from Wells. Many of the parts from the current model, AC-7, will fit this machine. The machine can also be used in the vertical position with an auxiliary table, which I do not have. The guides are very heavy and use 3 sealed bearings. The drive train uses step pulleys and provides speeds of 60, 90, 140, and 180 fpm, and gear-driven drive wheel. The first two digits of the serial number denote the last two digits of the year of manufacture. A machine with the serial number 703888 was made in 1970.
