Bought from a C-list ad. PO said it was his uncle-in-laws. Had been sitting in PO's garage for 12 years. He had tried to plane some 2x's and put one in the outfeed end and it shot across his garage and stuck in the wall - that was the last he used it. Came with a 1-1/2hp farm duty motor (you can see it in the background of the second photo) of 1750rpm, which I will replace with a 3450rpm unit. Lots of rust on the gearbox side and the in-feed table has some bad pitting. Cost was less than a tank of gas.
Finished restoration spring 2011, nake great chips!
