I bought this saw from Gary Hansen of Seatac Wa. in Oct 2010, who has owned it for some 20 plus years and used it in his cabinet shop. It is still in its original finish and runs fine with its YA one horse three phase motor. I believe it to be of later construction since it has a slotted table and alloy wheels. Construction from bottom to top. Cast iron base, sheet steel barrel, cast iron "pot top", and steel upper housing. There is a vertical steel box supporting the top housing, the blade does not run in this box section, rather in front of it gaining maximum width of cut
