I acquired this unique band saw along with a 6" Rockwell jointer through the local online classifieds from a gentleman selling all his shop equipment. This band saw is quite unusual such that the machine has an adjustable resaw height by moving the top wheel higher on the steel support post. The machine is constructed from a combination of aluminum and cast iron which leads me to believe it most likely was made in between the 1940's or early 1950's. The previous owner cut the lower wheel guard to retrofit dust collection and the motor was an large beast. The initial set-up took quite some time to ensure the wheels were in plane the and the blade tracked well.
