my grandfather bought the bandsaw used in 1947 from Jos Côté of St-Ephrem de Beauce
It run on a 2hp,220 volts but the previous owner must run it on a strap from a line shaft because one pulley turn free and the other one drive the shaft,when they need the bandsaw they have to push the strap to the right to engage the saw.My father tell me he never use it that way
